About This Special Issue
The monograph of ‘Interdisciplinary Researches in Environmental Design Education’ is focused on study of quality of relationship among the structural elements of sciences and arts and training of environmental design. This special subject is intended to improve the methods, organizing experiences, and the possibility for exploration into the new approaches toward application in the educational field of environmental design. The result of interdisciplinary researches in this area may highly contribute the instructors of environmental design to create more human-driven and responsive spaces by employing these achievements. The interrelated discipline with training of environmental design may cover various fields of several disciplines including psychology, sociology, cross-cultural studies, environmental psychology, behavioral – environment studies, environmental sciences, the common area among environmental design and other arts etc. The proposed essay should be able to provide a common expression from a discipline that is intended to be linked with subject of environmental design and education. Similarly, it should refer to applied and executable results in the environmental design workshop (atelier) and accompanied with some examples and types of experiences. Likewise, this paper should possess high standard characteristics in terms of scientific quality and include original features from the latest studies and researches.
